Daryl Fang, BASc RAc - Acupuncture for Fertility, Women's Health and PCOS
Daryl has been practicing acupuncture for more than 12 years, starting from the time she graduated with a B.App.Sci in Human Biology and Traditional Chinese Medicine, RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) in 2009.
She has a special love and passion for the application of acupuncture in women’s health and fertility.
In addition to her core passion, she has seen amazing benefits using acupuncture to treat conditions like:
- emotional and mood related disorders (anxiety, depression, panic)
- pain (musculoskeletal and joint pain or injury)
- digestive issues such as IBS, acid reflux and constipation
- respiratory conditions such as colds, allergies and sinus related conditions
Over the last decade she has focused her treatment on areas of women’s health that include (but are not necessarily limited to) fertility (natural or assisted such as IVF/IUI), hormonal balancing (PCOS, irregular periods, perimenopausal conditions, painful periods, PMS/PMDD, acne) as well as providing safe treatment for women at each critical stage of pregnancy (such as in the early few weeks of the first trimester, final trimester, labour induction around the time of the baby’s due date and post partum). Some of the conditions treated at each stage of pregnancy include morning sickness, fatigue, acid reflux, mastitis, joint pain, insomnia, cold and respiratory conditions, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraines, seasonal allergies, as well as post partum mood disorders
In addition, Daryl also practices Cosmetic Acupuncture, supporting the patient for concerns such as dull and tired skin, fine facial lines, improving elasticity and moisture, and maintaining the texture and firmness of facial skin around areas such as the chin, jawline, brows and forehead.
Daryl is a passionate advocate of using this form of therapy for supporting women in their journey through the different stages of life and considers it a privilege to be able to offer acupuncture as a proudly licensed Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture of Ontario (CTCMPAO) since 2013. She holds a previous B.A of Psychology from the University of Toronto (Toronto, Canada) and is also a member of the TCMO (Traditional Chinese Medicine Ontario) Association.
